Since we weren't all going to be together on Christmas, we got together with the Boe side and celebrated by opening gifts and eating some good food (prepared by Marissa and Grandma Becky).
Nearly everytime Marissa opened a gift, we heard, "Yes! Yes! Yes!" followed by "Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!" It was funny! Some favorite presents were clothes and anything to do with paper. Brayden loved opening gifts. It's fun to watch him get into it. However, he was a little slow for Marissa. He would open a gift and then want to play with it for a bit, before he opened the next one. This drove Marissa crazy. A favorite gift of G & G's (they brought from Europe) was the lederhosen. Brayden didn't want to wear it at first, but with a little bribery we got them on.
Marissa and Brayden had a little tug-o-war with a present followed by a little patience and teamwork while trying to blow up the balloon on another.
As you can see Brayden was not excited about taking any family photos. He wanted to get busy and play with his new toys. It was nice
having the Oregon Boe clan over. There's no better combination than gifts, food, and family!
