Portland Public still has outdoor school. Basically, the kids get to go up to Mt. Hood and stay over night for a couple of nights in some cabins. There are some guides who take the kids on hikes while teaching them about habitats and landforms of the area. Marissa had a ton of fun! She had been excited for this trip all year.
